Feeling totally exhausted today ....

It was my son's wedding on Saturday, married now to the lovely Amanda!  Such a wonderful day, I can't begin to describe how I feel!

The wedding took place at the Clifton Pavilion, Bristol Zoo Gardens - such an amazing venue!

I will be posting pics when I'm feeling more composed, so watch this space!

I'm taking advantage of the fact that I'm snowed in and working hard on my new collection of bridesmaid headdresses and fascinators!

I'm sure that the new fashion trending colours will spill over into bridal fashion as it always does.  It will be a season of gentle ice cream shades or deep colour-popping to reflect the mood of the catwalk and high street fashion.

My Lulu fascinator in navy blue was one of my best sellers last season.  This season will see a much wider range of contrast and accent colours to this very versatile hair accessory.  There will be more styles in navy blue in fascinators and in my clips and pins range.  Lucy and Laura are perennial best sellers and I'm predicting that the navy & silver Swarovski versions will be big this year ...  here's hoping!

The weather forecast predicts 5" of snowfall tonight ... only a sprinkling so far - let's see what the morning brings. 

I think tomorrow will be a day of photographing new stock of bridal illusion necklaces and bracelets for the website.  I might fit in a spot of making as bridal sales are definately gathering pace.  So far my pearl and crystal tiaras and illusion necklaces are proving to be very popular, together with navy blue and peacock fascinators.

Eeek!  It's nearly Christmas and I haven't written anything for November.  Well, it's not that I have nothing to say about November, it's just that I've not had a lot of time!

I've just returned from an amazing trip to India!!  Head first into Christmas orders!  Well, I hope that over the holiday period I will have some time to sit and go through all my photos and put a few on here to share.   I saw so many amazing sights and feel full of inspiration to create some new works of art.  I can't wait to get started on some new designs in the new year.

Celebrating life, beating breast cancer

A fun day was had by all at the White Horse Country Pub & Restaurant, High Cross, Herts.  So much hard work had gone into organising the day by landlady, Jacquie and her daughter and happily lots of people came along to support the event!

There was a Marquee at the rear of the restaurant with art & craft stalls.   Tea and cakes were served in the restaurant.  There was a bouncy castle and crafts and fun activities for the children during the day and and live bands, homemade soup and a hog roast in the evening, all profits going to the Rose Appeal,  a great way to spend a sunday!
